Porc Normande
Pork with apples

- apples (Bramley, Granny Smith)
- butter
- Calvados
- Crème fraiche
- Salt Pepper
Cook
- Core the apples and cut into quarters
- In a frying pan melt 120 g butter
- Add the sugar
- Bring to the boil
- Place the apples in the mixture
- Colour on each side
- Add Calvados and cream
- Stir (do not break apples)
- Melt the remaining butter in a pan
- Season chops
- Fry chops in frying pan till cooked through
- Place chop on plate cove with apples
- Pour sauce over apples
