Pork with apples

  • apples (Bramley, Granny Smith)
  • butter
  • Calvados
  • Crème fraiche
  • Salt Pepper
Cook
  1. Core the apples and cut into quarters
  2. In a frying pan melt 120 g butter
  3. Add the sugar
  4. Bring to the boil
  5. Place the apples in the mixture
  6. Colour on each side
  7. Add Calvados and cream
  8. Stir (do not break apples)
  9. Melt the remaining butter in a pan
  10. Season chops
  11. Fry chops in frying pan till cooked through
  12. Place chop on plate cove with apples
  13. Pour sauce over apples
