Forget the three ages of man; at Brasserie Blanc we start with the three ages of youth. Having a children’s menu is all well and good, but I challenge you to define the eating habits of a child. I tried with my own and found it exceedingly hard, and I can cook a bit.
So we decided that one is not enough (is it ever?) and we have three menus for children. Each aimed at a set age group.

For the babies, free organic carrot puree with nothing added.
For children up to 8 years, a small set menu for those fussy ages where food is not the most important.
Petit Menu £5.95
Main course
Grilled corn-fed chicken supreme, French beans (chips or new potatoes)
Toulouse sausage with mash
Macaroni with slow-roast tomato sauce
Dessert
Selection of Ice creams and sorbets
For when food is becoming important, when they want to choose from the menu like Mum and Dad, a little JB sign denotes the half portion half price dishes on the A La Carte.
