Be the first to join our new Cookery Club adult classes. We launched the Cookery Club very successfully this half term with a series of very popular kids Halloween cooking classes. Now it is the grownups’ turn. Classes for adults in November will include Christmas foodie treats and a Seasonal Game masterclass by local chef Judith Green. Judith cooks every summer in Italy, and year round in the beautiful Somerset countryside. She is a master of seasonal cooking and is ready to show you her secrets. Places are limited so book early.
Tuesday 13th November
11am – 2pm (followed by lunch) FESTIVE FOOD GIFTS £55.00
Learn how to make your own Christmas mince meat and the perfect mince pies. Bottle your own brandy butter and butterscotch sauce, and master panforte and chocolate salami. These delicious goodies will all make fabulous Christmas gifts if you can bear to give them away. Class includes all instruction, ingredients and goodies to take away, as well as a three course lunch in the brasserie afterwards. Limited space so book early.
3pm – 5pm DECORATE YOUR OWN CHRISTMAS GINGERBREAD HOUSE £35 (LITTLE) £45 (BIG)
Have fun decorating a traditional homemade gingerbread house, and take it home for your Christmas centerpiece. All instruction, ingredients and equipment included. Please specify which size house you would like to make when you book as they will be made to order.
Wednesday 14th November

We will be baking a selection of classic Christmas cookies and biscuits. So whether you want to fill up your biscuit tins, make beautiful homemade gifts or decorate with gingerbread shapes, you will find something to inspire you in this class. Learn how to get the best out of local and seasonal produce with an Autumn inspired menu from guest chef Judith Green. All ingredients and instruction will be provided along with equipment, however you may wish to bring your own knives.
