We’re in Covent Garden today celebrating the official opening of Brasserie Blanc at the Opera Terrace. The latest addition to the Brasserie Blanc chain is now officially open, and a day of Parisian fun and flamboyance is to mark the occasion.

A stage has been erected outside of Brasserie Blanc’s crêperie, where dancers will entertain crowds throughout the day with hourly can can performances.

Can can dancers Le Petits Pois kicked off festivities at 12.30pm with a stellar performance in Covent Garden’s piazza. The dancers showed off their can can, complete with traditional can can music and some very colourful costumes as crowds gathered in the piazza.

Later this afternoon Raymond Blanc is due to pay a visit, where he’ll be signing books and even showing us his can can.
