John Lederer
CEO Brasserie Blanc
Born in Paddington in 1958 of a French mother and Czech father, John went to school at the French Lyçée in London and was professionally trained at the Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland.
In the past ten years, John has worked as a the Operations Director for both Groupe Chez Gerard and Masala World, helping in the expansion of both and collecting a Michelin Star, ITV restaurant of the year amongst numerous other awards. He is also a Non Executive Board Director of Prezzo Plc.
He joined Brasserie Blanc in 2006 with the simple aim of realising Raymond’s vision of opening a number of Brasseries in the UK that served not just the classical French food that inspired Raymond but serving it in a convivial atmosphere not unlike the ones that both he and Raymond enjoyed as children in France. In other words “Real French food, close to home”.
He is survived by three cats and an expensive wife.
